While maybe not the MOST reputable news source, CNN is generally more respected more than some other American news outlets. So, when I came across an article on their homepage about the elderly joining dating sites, I was very surprised to find what looks very suspiciously like an affiliate link embedded in the story. If this is the case, and I can’t prove that it is, I’m offended by their lack of disclosure. I realize this could be some sort of method of tracking, and not actually be an affiliate link, but ff this is in fact an affiliate link, then CNN readers should know they are being marketed to. This is the first time I have seen this sort of thing from CNN, or from any reputable news site. What are you’re opinions on this, should CNN ever have undisclosed affiliations?
