Man oh man if looks could kill, then the following lady killers on my list will leave you in a body bag. They will charm you, possibly wine you and dine you, then drug you, then strangle you until the light in your eyes dim and finally die away. Let the necrophilic sex begin!
Yes, they’re that hot.
They’re also serial killers.
The following murderers both frightened and captivated their country and the world with their amazing atrocities. Many of them, in fact, have garnered so much recognition that they also attracted the attentions of adoring groupies. These women visited their beloved behind bars, sent them letters and gifts, and – for some lucky ladies – married their idols even as their trial continued.
The first reported groupie was the blonde and beautiful Rosalind Bowers. In 1865, Bowers attended the trial of rapist and murderer William Henry Theodore Durrant with a bouquet of fresh sweet pea flowers. Her daily delivery drew attention from the media but pissed off her husband, whom she never talked about. Anyway, Durrant was executed and eventually “the Sweet Pea Girl” disappeared completely from history, but the groupie mentality for these psychos still lives on!
Personally, Durrant’s not my type. But the following killers definitely caught my eye… Thank God I didn’t catch theirs!
5. Elizabeth Bathory
Hell yes I’d go gay for Bathory! During the 1600s, The Blood Countess slaughtered over 600 women and poisoned several husbands in her Transylvanian castle. Even when she was young, Báthory Erzsébet (her Hungarian name) was a problem child with anger issues and a promiscuous streak. Although she was best known for bathing in her handmaidens’ blood, she also had their orifices sewn shut, indulged in cannibalism, and genitally mutilated her victims. Since she was so politically significant, law enforcement at the time couldn’t execute Bathory. Instead, she was placed on extreme house arrest, imprisoned in her sealed torture chamber with only a small hole in the wall so she could receive food from outside. Bathory died four years later.
Listen, a girl’s gotta do what she can to maintain her good looks. And though Bathory’s method was brutal, her milky porcelain skin does make me drool. Plus, she has a castle… A Castle! And she most likely had a BDSM-type dungeon with a number of torture tools at our disposal. If I had a night with The Blood Countess, I think my saving grace would’ve been to establish a safe word. I don’t think safe words existed back then, which might account for so many dead bodies… or not.
4. Charles Manson
From his wild eyes to his crazy hobo rants, Charles Manson may seem odd now but in his heyday he was a long-haired hippie who hung out with The Beach Boys and scored with plenty of chicks. His effect on the opposite sex was so persuasive, in fact, he recruited his three femme followers – Patricia Krenwinkel, Leslie Von Houten, and Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme – to slaughter celebrity mother-to-be Sharon Tate and her six friends in August of ’69. The next night, the Manson Family struck again (this time to do it right!) and murdered supermarket executive Leno and Rosemary LaBianca. While Manson hasn’t changed much, most of his groupies have, expressing some remorse for their criminal history.
Yep, if it weren’t for the fact that Manson was an open bigot who encouraged an inter-racial war amongst white and blacks, I think I would have had a chance with him. He’s an artist, like me, and meets (kills, but meets nonetheless) famous movie stars. What a deal!
3. Paul & Karla Homolka
This Ken and Barbie couple from Canada wouldn’t seem like serial killers at first. But, if you’re a young girl, watch yourself! If you don’t believe me, then consider Karla’s younger twin sister, Tammy. At a Christmas party in 1990, after lacing her drink with animal tranquilizers (Karla was a vet assistant), Paul raped the sedated Tammy while Karla videotaped the entire thing. Only hiccup was that Tammy OD’d and choked on her own vomit. But it didn’t stop the killer couple. Karla wanted to please Paul, who had a violent history of sexual assault. So she helped him become “The Scarborough Rapist”, abducting over three victims for brutal sexual abuse and eventually strangulation. When the couple do become people of interest for these unexplained murders, Karla turns against her husband and confesses to all of their crimes.
Paul Bernardo was a little too snobby for my tastes; but Karla! With her warm smile and hot bod, she has a je ne sais quoi about her that makes me wonder if, perhaps, she might be the mastermind behind their life of destruction. Sure, Paul abused Karla as well, but left to her own devices, she might have her own dark side that needs soothing. And I know just the horny gal to bring it out of her. Let’s get some Halcion and do this thing!
2. Richard Ramirez
Tall, dark, and handsome - it was no wonder why The Night Stalker was such a hit with the ladies. Sure, he may have worshipped Satan and roamed the country as a homeless drifter. But, he did have a strong career as a serial killer so at least you know he’s not lazy. Beginning in the summer of 84′, he terrorized over 30 victims and was charged with 14 counts of murder. This record was so impressive that 41 year old Doreen Lioy had to declare her love. The couple wedded while Ramirez was on death row; but the marriage was never consummated (Damn conjugal visits!). Sooo jealous, but I doubt that he’d like me. Unlike his wife, I’m not a virgin.
Yes, Lioy was a virgin and this was the dangling carrot that lured Ramirez into the ultimate hell: Marriage. But, he still has a special place in my heart.
1. Ted Bundy
Pretty much the Brad Pitt of serial killers, Bundy had the complete package – intelligent law student, devastatingly handsome, witty, AND he invested hours of community service at school helping rape victims via an emergency hotline. Bundy didn’t mind asking for help either. Placing a cast on his arm or leg, he’d ask unsuspecting college students and hitchhikers to hold his law books as he fumbled to open his car door. Suddenly, they were clocked in the head with an iron bar and thrown into Bundy’s car. This ploy, as well as others, would lead to the deaths of over 30 women. And, like another killer also listed here, he was able to find love on death row as well. In 1980, former fellow law student and longtime acquaintance, Carol Anne Boone, married Bundy and even bore him a child (sources vary as to exactly how the marriage was consummated). After 8 years of denial, however, the love spell was over. Now, Boone lives her life under a new name, removing herself from Bundy’s side. Good timing as well because in 1989 he was electrocuted. But, don’t feel bad for Bundy. He received hundreds of letters from women who adored him.
I think we’d actually make a great couple! He was an avid foot fetishist; I’m a dominatrix with size 10 dancer feet. His victims were young white women with dark hair. I’m a black chick so he wouldn’t want to kill me, right? Right?
