If there was ever a doubt as to how far we’ve come in the past 50 years or so, these blatantly sexist vintage ads prove how much our attitudes have changed towards women. Be warned, some of the following ads are downright despicable. They are overtly sexist, with some even hinting at or insinuating that violence against women is acceptable.
